abstract This invention relates to azo dyes prepared by diazotizing substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic amines such as 2-aminothiophene and coupling with certain aniline, tetrahydroquinoline, or benzomorpholine compounds containing sulfoaralkyl groups. These dyes are particularly useful in dyeing polyamide fibers, cellulose acetate fibers and wool.
