abstract Granular detergent compositions containing an organic surfactant, an aluminosilicate ion exchange material, a water-soluble neutral or alkaline salt and a film-forming polymer soluble in an aqueous slurry of the above components are disclosed. The compositions contain no or low levels of phosphate and silicate materials, yet provide granules which exhibit superior free-flowing characteristics and solubility in the laundering solution.
