abstract |
A normally solid Diels-Alder reaction product between maleic anhydride and decatriene can be liquefied by heat-treating at from 60° to 250° C. for from 10 minutes to 10 hours in the presence of a compound selected from the following groups (a) to (e): n (a) alkali metal salts; n (b) nitrogen atom-containing organic compounds; n (c) phosphorus atom-containing compounds selected from phosphines and quaternary phosphonium salts; n (d) thiocyanates; and n (e) solid basic compounds. |
