Compounds of the formula: <IMAGE> wherein A represents pyrid-2-yl, quinol-2-yl or 1,8-naphthyridin-2-yl, each such radical being optionally substituted by a halogen atom, or an alkyl or alkoxy radical of 1 through 4 carbon atoms, and R represents hydrogen, an alkyl radical of 1 through 4 carbon atoms, an alkenyl radical of 2 through 4 carbon atoms or an alkanoyl radical of 1 through 4 carbon atoms, are new compounds possessing pharmacological properties. They are particularly active as tranquillizers, anti-convulsants, decontracturants and hypnogenic agents. |
