abstract |
Stable biologically active thromboxane A2 analogues having the formula: <IMAGE> wherein R1 is OR3, where R3 represents hydrogen or a pharmaceutically acceptable cation or lower alkyl group; or R1 is NR4R5 where R4 and R5 are the same or different substituents selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and lower alkyl group; and R2 is hydrogen or an -OH group. The thromboxane analogues are potent thrombotic agents, useful in cardiovascular treatment. |
