abstract Disclosed herein is a process for printing on textile materials, particularly pile type fabrics, wherein a foamed printing composition is first applied to the textile material; a second foamed composition is thereafter uniformly applied onto the textile over the printing composition prior to fixation of the latter; the second applied foam is then collapsed to form a pre-selected print on the textile; and the printed textile is then subjected to color fixation.
