abstract This invention relates to novel herbicidal compounds having the formula <IMAGE> in which X is chloro, bromo, trifluoromethyl, methyl or ethyl; R1 is hydrogen or C3-C5 alkenyl; and R2 is (a) C3-C5 alkenyl if R1 is C3-C5 alkenyl; (b) C3-C5 alkyl, C3-C5 alkenyl or C3-C6 alkynyl if X is chloro, methyl, ethyl or trifluoromethyl and R1 is hydrogen; and (c) C1-C5 alkyl, C3-C5 alkenyl or C3-C6 alkynyl if X is bromo and R1 is hydrogen. These compounds have been found to exhibit herbicidal properties.
