abstract A method for the production of a stretched multi-cellular polyolefin article. A composition comprising a blend of a crystalline polyolefin and about 2-50% by weight of a metal resinate is formed into a shaped article. The shaped article is either uniaxially or biaxially stretched at a temperature between the glass transition temperature and the crystalline melting point of the polyolefin resin to form a multi-cellular article.
