abstract An odor filtering device for space dispensing a volatile oil by soaking a porous substrate with a malodor counteractant composition. The exposed surface of the substrate permits evaporation of malodor counteractant creating an internal vapor pressure differential which drives the counteractant from the interior of the substrate to the surface to replace the surface loss. Particular devices are formed and arranged to permit controlled release of the malodor counteractant over an extended period of time.
