titleOfInvention | Color diffusion transfer process using benzyl alcohol and derivatives thereof |
abstract | The present invention discloses a process for forming a color dye image in an image receiving layer by diffusion transfer from a light sensitive element containing a diffusible dye developer and a silver halide emulsion which has been imagewise exposed. The exposed light sensitive element is subjected to an alkaline processing solution to transfer the dye developer to an image-receiving layer of an image receiving element to produce a color dye image. The alkaline processing solution thus used should contain a compound of the following general formula: <IMAGE> wherein R1 represents hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, methoxy or hydroxymethyl and R2 represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl. |
