abstract A cold-setting moulding mixture, comprising a resin binder capable of setting at room temperature in the presence of an acid catalyst. The composition of the cold-setting mixture incorporates also phenoxyalkylalkoxysilane introduced as an additive add having the formula <IMAGE> where "X" is selected from a hydrogen, alkyl-, alkoxy-group and the -O(CH2)n-Si(OR)3 group, "n" = 2-3 and R is a C1-C4 alkyl radical. The additive is introduced in an amount of from 0.1 to 1.0% by weight of resin.
