Perfluoro-alkoxy propionic acid fluorides may be obtained by reacting hexafluoro-propene epoxide with a perfluoro-carboxylic fluoride in an aprotic polar solvent in the presence of a N,N,N', N'-tetrasubstituted diaminodifluoromethane as catalyst. n The compounds obtained may be used as starting products for valuable perfluoro ethers which are highly inert towards heat or aggressive chemicals, such as fluorine. |
