Double-ylide metal complexes are made. To this end, one or more bis-[methyl-(diorganyl)-phosphoranylidene]-methanes of the general formula (CH3)R1R2P=C=PR1R2(CH3) in which R1 and R2 each stand independently of one another for an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or phenyl or tolyl, are reacted with one or more compounds of a monovalent, bivalent or trivalent metal. |
