abstract A process for dyeing or printing aromatic polyamide fibres with cationic dyes in aqueous medium, wherein the medium contains n A. a carrier which contains no ketone-forming carbonyl groups, and n B. an anionic assistant. n The process of the invention is especially suitable to obtain wilt cationic dyes dyeings having a color yield of 2 to 10 times greater than that obtained by using the same dye liquor but without the addition of any anionic assistant.
