abstract Arylaminoalkylthioamides and salts thereof wherein the benzene ring is substituted with halo, alkyl, lower alkoxy or 1,3-butadienylene are disclosed. The compounds are prepared by the reaction of the correspondingly substituted arylaminoalkylnitrile with hydrogen sulfide. The products are antisecretory agents useful in the treatment of ulcers.
