Thiazolinone-(2)-carboxylic acid esters having the formula: <IMAGE> ARE PREPARED BY REACTING A beta -AMINO ACRYLIC ACID ESTER WITH CHLOROCARBOXYL SULPHENYL CHLORIDE (COCl-SCl) at a temperature of from 0 DEG to 200 DEG C. The esters are useful as plant protecting agents such as a fungicide. |
