abstract Complexes of Cresolase and copper chelating agents are used for inhibiting L1210 mouse leukemia. Particularly effective complexes are the chelates of cresolase with 8-hydroxyquinoline, alpha , alpha dipyridyl, and hydroquinone. Tyrosinase obtained from the brown (Type I) common edible mushroom is a suitable source of cresolase. The cresolase active tyrosinase may then be reacted with copper chelating agent to produce the complex.
