abstract | Trichloroethylidene-bis-(isocyanide-dichloride) is prepared by treating trichloroethylidene-bis-formamide with acid chlorides in the presence of an inert diluent at temperatures of about 0 DEG to 150 DEG C. The reaction mixture is then reacted, simultaneously or subsequently, with an excess of chlorine to form the desired product. |
