abstract The invention relates to a control device for activating and deactivating yarn-guides on circular hosiery machines by selectively moving them into and out of operative position, and for similar uses where it is desired to cause a movable portion to selectively assume two different angular positions with respect to a stationary portion. The device allows movement and retention of a magnetically equipped movable member in one or the other of at least two positions responsive to a single current pulse.
