abstract |
A novel class of monomeric emulsion stabilizers consists of certain types of ethylenically unsaturated radicals covalently linked to a quaternary nitrogen atom which in turn is covalently linked to a lipophilic radical. Such monomers will polymerize with other ethylenically unsaturated radicals forming selfstabilized, surfactant-free polymeric dispersions. |
