titleOfInvention Upgrading crude oil by combination processing
abstract The combination processing concept described involves using a low severity reforming operation primarily as a source of hydrogen for CHD processing and other treating operations in the production of low octane reformate (90-95 R+O) which is then upgraded by cracking over a crystalline aluminosilicate catalyst to produce a higher octane gasoline boiling product. Alkylation of reformer and FCC light ends contributes to gasoline boiling product yields.
