| abstract | A plough has forward soil-loosening means, soil-elevating elements and a soil-crumbling mechanism mounted under a screen. The plough has a beamed frame and side plates between which the elements and crumbling mechanism are rotatably mounted. A forward coupling assembly includes two arched beams that can be interconnected at several spaced apart points so that the plow can be placed at various locations behind a prime mover. The power take off is in driving engagement with the elements and crumbling mechanism. The soil-loosening means can be forwardly extending tines that are bolted in holders with the latter being pivotably mounted and spring biased to operative positions. The front of the plough rests on ground wheels with means to adjust the working level of the tines or other loosening means. |
