abstract A sequential injection syringe for injecting two or more different types of medicaments sequentially and without intermixing of the medicaments within the syringe during the injection process. The syringe includes a barrel receiving a plunger and one or more independently movable plugs which are separated within the barrel, and between themselves, the distal end of the barrel and the plunger defining two or more medicament receiving spaces. Extending into the barrel from the distal end thereof is a medicament conduit which is open at its innermost end and adapted to pass through the plug or plugs. Immediately adjacent the distal end of the barrel is an opening in the medicament conduit and the inward extension of the conduit is just slightly greater than the thickness of the plug or plugs.
