abstract A wall structure, particularly for gas turbine engines combustion chambers, in which two vortices of opposite hard impinge on the wall and cooling films of opposite direction are required to be set up from the plane lying between the two vortices. The invention provides two rows of oppositely facing pockets having interdigitaded mouths which generate the two cooling films.
