titleOfInvention Synthetic end grain block defining a wear surface
abstract An end grain block having a top surface, a bottom surface parallel to and spaced from the top surface and a peripheral surface extending between and connecting the top and bottom surfaces. The block comprises a plurality of wear fibres extending therewithin substantially perpendicular to the top and bottom surfaces, and an organic plastic material binding the fibres together. The wear fibres constitute greater than 40 weight percent of the block.
