titleOfInvention Method for forming a consolidated gravel pack in a well borehole
abstract A method for providing a permeably consolidated gravel pack in a well borehole penetrating a subterranean formation is provided. In this method a slurry composition is prepared containing a particulate material coated with an uncured epoxy resin and a curing agent slurried in a hydrocarbon oil. The slurry is injected into the well bore and formation until a screen out occurs. The well is shut in until the resin coated particulate mass cures to form a consolidated permeable sand or gravel pack. A portion or all of the consolidated mass in the well bore is then removed therefrom.
