New amide derivatives of glycyrrhetinic acid and of 3-O-acylglycyrrhetinic acid are provided in which the amide grouping is derived from piperazine or from an N-carboalkoxy-piperazine. The new compounds are valuable in the treatment of inflammatory conditions and especially of arthritic conditions. |
