abstract |
A method of producing cyclopentene by a selective hydrogenation of cyclopentadiene with molecular hydrogen using a catalyst consisting essentially of palladium or palladium and iron, impregnated on a magnesium oxide having a surface area smaller than 100 m2/g. The catalyst may be reactivated by heating at a temperature of 200* to 600*C. |
