abstract The invention deals with a battery made up of storage cells with precharged, dry electrodes, which, after storing, are activated by being filled with an electrolyte. Each cell is provided with its own electrolyte container external of the main body of the cell. Each container is connected via a duct with a central pressure generator so that pressure from the generator forces the container''s electrolyte content into the main body of the respective cell.
