abstract |
The quality and reliability of refractory shell molds are greatly improved and the cost of manufacture is reduced in a unique drying tunnel system having an improved arrangement for circulating and conditioning the air and a novel impact drying system arranged to provide faster, more uniform and more thorough drying by use of air jets without causing premature drying or overheating problems. The novel equipment is relatively inexpensive and provides better drying conditions and more reliable control and increases the maximum rate of production which can be achieved with air conditioning equipment of a given size. |
