abstract A briquetting arrangement in which two wheels in opposed relation rotate in opposite directions and have die members mounted about the peripheries thereof with cavities formed in the die members in which material fed between the rotating wheels is compacted into briquettes. The die members are formed of a hard wear resistant material such as cemented tungsten carbide and are detachably mounted on supporting block members which are, in turn, fixed to the peripheries of the respective wheels.
