DURING THE MOLDING OPERATION, THIN, NON-FOAMED PORTIONS, SUCH AS HINGES, OR AREAS WHICH CAN SUBSEQUENTLY BE REMOVED TO PROVIDE ORIFICES IN THE MOLDING, ARE MADE AFTER THE MOLD CAVITY HAS BEEN FILLED WITH THE FOAMABLE COMPOSITION BY EFFECTING RELATIVE MOVEMENT BETWEEN A TOOL DEFINING THE NON-FOAMED PORTION AND ONE OF THE OPPOSED SURFACES OF THE MOLD.
