abstract THERE ARE DISCLOSED HEREIN SOLID ADHESIVE STICKS WHICH CONTAIN FROM 2% TO ABOUT 25% BY WEIGHT OF A SOAP, AND FROM ABOUT 5% TO ABOUT 40% BY WEIGHT OF AN ALKYLATED N-VINYLPYRROLIDONE POLYMER IN WATER, WATER-MISCIBLE ORGANIC SOLVENTS AND MIXTURES THEREOF, SUCH LIQUIDS BEING PRESENT IN AN AMOUNT OF FROM 25% TO 80% BY WEIGHT. THE ADHESIVE STICKS HAVE PARTICULAR APPLICATION AS ADHESIVES FOR EASY TO BOND SUBSTRATES SUCH AS PAPER.
