THE NEW COMPOUNDS ARE ANTIBIOTICS OF THE TETRACYCLINE GROUP COMBINED WITH SULFONAMIDES HAVING FREE AMINO OR FREE ALKYLAMINO FUNCTION, THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE TWO TYPES OF BASE MOLECULES BEING EFFECTED BY MEANS OF AN ALDEHYDE BRIDGE. THE DRUGS HAVE PROPERTIES WHICH ARE DERIVED DIRECTLY FROM THOSE OF THE BASE MOLECULES. THE DRUGS ARE ANTIBIOTIC, ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTIPARASITIC AGENTS.
