AND IN THE PRESENCE OF A CATALYST WHICH MAY BE ALUMINUM CHLORIDE, WHEREIN ONE OF THE SILANES CONTAINS AT LEAST ONE CHLORINE ATOM, AND WHEREIN THE HYDROSILANE IS PRESENT AT A CONCENTRATION THAT IS ABOVE 10 MOLE PERCENT AND PREFERABLY ABOVE 15 MOLE PERCENT BASED ON THE TWO SILANE REACTANTS.
