abstract Fabric, preferably polyester fabric, dyed in any appropriate manner with a non-reactive dyestuff is introduced while cool into a first chamber filled with saturated solvent vapors, the wet fabric is then passed to another chamber filled with super-heated vapors of the same solvent which permits the solvent to penetrate the fibers and carry the dye into the surface of the fibers.
