titleOfInvention Electromagnetic timing mechanism
abstract A timing mechanism employs a rotary oscillatory member which is biased toward a neutral position and is pulsed electromagnetically in one direction about its axis so that it oscillates at a selected natural frequency. The timed oscillations of the member may be transformed into unidirectional motion of a second rotary member. This second member may then drive counting wheels which provide a visual indication of time as measured from a selected time base.
