THE PRESENCE OF THE TALC CONTRIBUTES SYNERGISTICALLY TO THE FLAME RETARDANCY OF THE COMPOSITIONS PERMITTING A REDUCTION IN THE QUANTITIES OF THE CHLORINE-CONTAINING AND ANTIMONY-CONTAINING ADDITIVES OTHERWISE EMPLOYED FOR THIS PURPOSE.
