abstract A fluorescent lamp holder assembly having two oppositely opposed socket members, one socket member being rigidly affixed, the other socket member being resilient. Both members are designed so that insertion of a fluorescent lamp is possible without twisting or bending the lamp. Removal of the lamp is also made substantially less difficult.
