abstract This disclosure relates to an apparatus for applying a metal end unit to the upper end of a molded flexible plastic body. The apparatus includes a mold which receives the container after being filled, and effects the true shaping of the container, especially the upper portion thereof. The mold cooperates with a seaming chuck to maintain the configuration of the upper portion of the container during the seaming of the end unit thereto.
