abstract PROCESS FOR DYEING NITROGEN-CONTAINING FIBRE MATERIALS WITH ACID DYESTUFFS AND 1:2 METAL COMPLEX DYESTUFFS IN THE PRESNCE OF AMINES CONTAINING GLYCOL ETHER GROUPS, CHARACTERISED IN THAT COMPOUNDS OF FORUMLA R-N(-R1)-(CH2-CH2-O)M-(CH2)2-SO3-M IN WHICH R REPRESENTS A C12-C22-ALKYL, C12-C22 ALKENYL OR C12-C22-CYCLOALKYL RADICAL, R1 REPRESENTS A METHYL GROUP OR ONE OF THE GROUPINGS -(CH2-CH(-R2)-O)N-H, OR -(CH2-CH(-R2)-O)N-(CH2)2-SO3-M R2 REPRESENTS HYDROGEN, OR A METHYL, ETHYL OR PHENYL GROUP, M DENOTES A CATION, AND THE SUM M+N DENOTES A NUMBER FROM 5-70, WITH THE PROVISO THAT AT LEAST 80% OF THE ALKYLENE OXIDE UNITS CONTAINED IN THE MOLECULE ARE ETHYLENE OXIDE UNITS, OR THEIR QUATERNISATION PRODUCTS OF FORMULA R-N(+)(-R1)(-R3)-(CH2-CH(-R2)-O)M-(CH2)2-SO3(-) IN WHICH R, R1, R2, M AND N HAVE THE ABOVEMENTIONED SIGNIFICANCE AND R3 REPRESENTS AN OPTIONALLY SUBSTITUTED C1-C8-ALKYL GROUP OR ARALKYL GROUP, ARE USED AS AMINES CONTAINING GLYCOL ETHER GROUPS.
