abstract The photodegradation of polyolefin compositions is accelerated by the incorporation therein of from 0.1 to 2 percent by weight of a gamma -pyrone ring-containing compound, such as chromone, flavone or xanthone. Polyolefin films containing such additives are useful as wrapping films and, particularly, agricultural mulching films.
