titleOfInvention | Photographic reflex process |
abstract | This disclosure relates to a method of making a reflex copy of a master by reflex exposing a photosensitive medium comprising a photoconductor sensitized to the reflex light but substantially not sensitive to the light which passes through the said medium from the external light source employed. The photoconductor is rendered chemically reducing when exposed to activating radiation, and is sensitized to the reflex light by uniformly exposing the photoconductor to bandgap light and allowing the activation to decay. Development of the medium after reflex exposure gives a negative image. To obtain a positive image, the developed reflex-exposed medium is used as a master and again reflex exposed using the same process to obtain a positive image. |
