THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD OF INCREASING THE LIGHT TRANSPARENCY AND REDUCING THE BIOLOGICAL OXYGEN DEMAND OF ORGANIC-CONTAINING WASTE SOLUTIONS WHICH COMPRISES THE STEP OF EXPOSING SUCH SOLUTIONS TO PENETRATING IONIZING RADIATION UNDER PRESSURE OF AN OXYGEN-CONTAINING ATMOSPHERE OF AT LEAST 1000 P.S.I.
