abstract Coatings for chlorine-containing compositions which control the rate of chlorine release from the composition when contacted with fluid medium, minimize the release of noxious chlorine odors to the atmosphere and improve the storage of the composition. The coating is established on the chlorine-containing composition by contacting the composition with a solution of the coating agent and allowing the coating agent to air dry on the composition.
