abstract An apparatus for driving antiskid studs into the tread surface of tires, especially pneumatic tires, by means of driving tools, which includes holding means for grasping and holding the tire to be studded and which also includes annular supporting means operable to be placed onto and around the tread surface of the tire to be studded, and equipped with a plurality of driving tools distributed over the circumference of said annular supporting means and operable selectively simultaneously to drive a plurality of studs into the tread surface of the tire to be studded.
