THE COMPOUNDS PRODUCED BY THE PROCESS OF THE INVENTION CAN BE SHOWN BY THE FOLLOWING FORMULA: 2-(R-S-),3,5-DI(HO-),4-(P-O-),6-((1-R2,3-R1-PYRROLIDIN- 5-YL)-CO-NH-CH(-CH(-X)-CH3)-)TETRAHYDROPYRAN WHEREIN R IS CH3,C2H5OR (2-(HO-)PHENYL)-COO-CH2-CH2- R1 IS H, OR CIS OR TRANS LOWER-ALKYL F FROM 1 TO 8 CARBON ATOMS, INCLUSIVE; R2 IS H, CH3, OR C2H5;X IS OH, CHLORINE, OR BROMINE, EACH IN THE (R) OR (S) CONFIGURATION, OR-OCH3; AND P IS -P(=O)(-OH)2 AND SALTS THEREOF.
