titleOfInvention Method for treating floated solids
abstract To prevent the flotation of a mineral containing an anionic collector reagent, the coated mineral is formed into a thick alkaline pulp containing another mineral having a greater affinity for the collector and an alkaline dispersant at a high concentration. The pulp is aged and then diluted and aerated. The mineral having the greater affinity for the anionic reagent floats; the other mineral is depressed.
