titleOfInvention Stimulation of water injection wells with micellar dispersions
abstract Stimulation of water injection wells is accomplished by injecting into the well 1-500 gallons of acid followed by the injection of 1-500 gallons of a micellar dispersion, the gallons of acid and dispersion based on vertical feet of oil-bearing formation. Preferably, the acid is followed by 0.5-50 volumes of water per volume of acid, i.e., a water slug is injected before the micellar solution.
