titleOfInvention Process for producing 5{40 -inosinic acid and 5{40 -guanylic acid nucleotides
abstract A process for simultaneously producing 5''-inosinic acid and 5''guanylic acid nucleotides such as 5''-guanosine-monophosphate, 5''guanosine-diphosphate and 5''-guanosine-triphosphate by fermentation which comprises culturing mutant strains of microorganisms having suitable properties under aerobic conditions in an aqueous nutrient medium containing 5''-xanthylic acid. The products are useful, for example, as flavoring agents.
